Intro to Maintenance and Reliability

This presentation provides those in the process and discrete manufacturing industries an introduction to the best practices in Maintenance and Reliability aimed at improving uptime and productivity. The relationship between asset care delivery and equipment performance are highlighted.

Work processes for Maintenance execution and reliability improvement are detailed along with their interfaces that are vital for overall asset performance improvement to meet business goals. The principles behind equipment failure are detailed in order to understand the design and use of predictive and preventative practices.

In addition, the uses of Reliability best practices are shown in the Capital Execution phase of projects and their importance for long-term asset performance.
