Richard Nemec discusses current work and objectives for the Sustainable Engineering Forum. The SEF seeks collaborative work in programming and education objectives with other professional societies, both national and foreign.

Subhas Sikdar provides an overview of the Engineers Forum on Sustainability. The Forum, established in 1997, serves to promote the principles and practice of sustainable development.

Subhas Sikdar graduated with a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Arizona in 1975, and after 41 years of service in various capacities, recently retired from the US Environmental Protection Agency, as the Associate Director for Science of the National Risk Management Research Laboratory in Cincinnati, Ohio. He worked for 10 years in industry, first for Occidental Research Corporation in Irvine, CA and then for General Electric Central R&D in Schenectady, NY.
