In this online course, you’ll learn how to work confidently and effectively with those around you as well as speak up and get your point across—face-to-face, in writing, and in reports to senior management.
In this targeted, two-hour overview, you’ll delve into why people behave the way they do and how to use that insight to improve your relationships. You’ll also recognize the role self-esteem, your expectations and your attitude play in your interactions.
In addition, you’ll explore three different modes of communication. You’ll learn how to determine whether a phone call or email is best or you need a face-to-face meeting. In addition, you’ll learn how to improve your presence at meetings, whether as a leader or participant, through stronger oral presentations, visual aids and written materials.
