The Spring 2013 DIERS Users Group meeting will be held on April 17 to 19, 2013 (WEDNESDAY to FRIDAY) at the Trump International Hotel, 2000 Fashion Show Drive, Las Vegas, NV (One block from the strip and the Wynn Hotel).  Call (866) 939-8786 to reserve a room.  Check the website at www.TrumpLasVegasHotel.com  Room rates for the hotel will be $129 (single / double – studio suite king city view) plus 12 percent county tax.  Guest room rates will be extended for three days before and after the meeting.  Mention the DIERS Users Group to get our rate.  The hotel will hold our block of rooms until March 26, 2013.  A credit card will be required to register at the hotel and the first night room charge will apply.  Refunds will be made on reservations canceled more than 72 hours prior to confirmed arrival date.

NOTE:

Hotel parking, Internet access, and shuttle service are complimentary.  The resort and meeting room fees and down payment deposits have been waived.

Las Vegas hotels have tightened their booking procedures for meetings.  The DIERS Users Group in order to get the room rate and the concessions mentioned above had to guarantee a certain number of rooms and will have to pay for the rooms not used.  Therefore, if you attend the meeting, you will be expected to register and stay at the Trump Hotel.

Registration for and payment of the actual cost of the meeting (catering – lunches, coffee breaks, etc. and audiovisual) will be accomplished using the AIChE website and submission of a credit card.  We will no longer collect monies and pay for the meeting expenses on site.  The daily fee will be $85 and includes lunches, coffee breaks, meeting room rental and audiovisual charges.  Our catering contract must be guaranteed to the hotel NLT April 11 (Thursday).  No refund after that date since the DUG has to pay the guarantee.  The link to the AIChE credit card payment system is at the top of the www.aiche.org/diers webpage.
