Daniel Yergin will share his outlook on the Future of Energy. Michael Thomas, President, Sasol North America

Michael Thomas will discuss challenges of a global growth plan. As President of Sasol North America, Mike will share his focus on the company’s North American growth plan, his insight into sustaining safe and reliable operations and how his organization is adapting to address the challenges and opportunities to come. Mr. Thomas was appointed to the position of President of Sasol North America (SNA) in March 2010. Prior to accepting the position of Company President, Thomas served as the Operations Manager for the company’s largest US manufacturing facility. Mike has more than 25 years of chemical manufacturing experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, procurement, and management.

Ian Bremmer, Eurasia Group

Ian Bremmer from Eurasia Group will share his outlook on the world economy and how the current global political landscape is affecting our industry. Ian Bremmer is the president of Eurasia Group, the leading global political risk research and consulting firm.
