National Student Conference:
Sponsorship incentives & opportunities

Salt Lake City, Utah – November 2 - 5, 2007

Here's an outstanding opportunity for your company to shine at AIChE's National Student Conference. Show your support of young chemical engineers and the profession by becoming a corporate sponsor.

Student Conference sponsor donations allow more than 1,000 undergraduate students to enjoy scholarly contests, career workshops, an awards banquet, the Chem-E-Car Competition, and more.

Incentives for sponsor companies are described below, and in 2007 will include a “Meet the Sponsors” Career Fair. Sponsors donating $2,000 or more are invited to participate in the Fair,  Sunday, November 4, where representatives can discuss careers and employment with some of the 1,000 undergraduates expected to attend.


All sponsor companies will receive:

  • A company logo on the Student Conference souvenir tee-shirt
    Written thanks and company logo in Student Conference program materials; on signs at the Student Conference and AIChE Annual Meeting; on the AIChE Student Web site; and public acknowledgement at Student Conference events.

For donations of $2,000 or more:
The items above, plus:

  • “Meet the Sponsors” Student Career Fair: Sponsor company representatives are welcome to staff an exhibit table at a “Meet the Sponsors” Student Career Fair – Sunday, November 4 – to be held adjacent to concurrent Student Conference events. This day-long event will permit sponsors to meet students looking for career opportunities. Participating companies will be announced to students in advance. Sponsors should be prepared to distribute information on how to upload resumes to the company’s HR department.
  • Complimentary Student Conference registration. One representative from the sponsor company is entitled to a complimentary Student Conference registration. The representative will be invited to attend the Student Awards Brunch, scheduled for Sunday, November 4, at the Salt Palace Convention Center. Sponsor representatives will be seated with student award winners, professors, and leaders of AIChE.

For donations of $3,500 or more
The items above, plus:

  • One representative from the sponsor company is entitled to a complimentary registration for the 2007 AIChE Annual Meeting.

Other Opportunities

  • $1,000 or more: Sponsor companies may donate giveaway logo items, toys, pens, notepads, snacks, etc. Space will be set aside in the registration area or other high-visibility location for the distribution of these items. A minimum supply of 1,300 items would be needed.
  • $5,000 or more: • Additional Complimentary Student Conference registration. 
  • $10,000 or more: • Exclusive sponsorship of the Student Conference Party, Saturday night, November 3. This events feed more than 1,000 students and AIChE leaders, and features competitions, entertainment, and other activities.
    • One additional representative from the sponsor company is entitled to a complimentary registration for the 2007 AIChE Annual Meeting.
  • Additional opportunities for exclusive event or promotional sponsorship are open to discussion.
