SBE Outstanding Member Award (PDF)
Presented to the one National AIChE student member in each student chapter who has been the most active in their student chapter during the past year, on recommendation of the Student Chapter Advisor.

Deadline: September 15, 2021. Nomination forms will be e-mailed to Student Chapter Advisors in August 2012

SBE Student Excellence Award (PDF)
Presented to the one National AIChE student member in each student chapter who has been each student chapter who has performed with academic excellence on, recommendation of the Student Chapter Advisor.

Deadline: September 15, 2012. Nomination forms will be e-mailed to Student Chapter Advisors in August 2012

SBE Chem-E-Car Award
SBE is currently sponsoring a $1,000 award for the Best Use of a Biological Reaction to Power a Car during this year's Chem-E-Car competition.  In this competition, team members design and construct a chemically powered vehicle within certain size constraints.

Other Awards

Odebrecht Award for Sustainable Development 
The Odebrecht Award for Sustainable Development is accepting entries beginning Jan. 2, 2012 from students of all engineering fields, architecture, building and construction management, and chemistry.  By submitting a paper that outlines contributions to sustainability, students have an opportunity to engage in a challenging exercise to develop engineering and chemical solutions and win $65,000 in cash prizes for themselves, their faculty advisors and their universities.  All entries are due by May 31, 2012.
