- Must have at least 2 years of experience in cellular or molecular biology research including specific experience in (i) handling human/mammalian cell lines, ii) expression/overexpression of proteins in cell lines, and (iii) utilizing liquid handling equipment and instrumentation for multiwell plate assays (384 well).
Job Description:
Identify and characterize fit-for-purpose mammalian cellular systems and assay readouts; develop high quality cell-based assays for high throughput screening, compound profiling, and mode of action studies in connection with candidate molecule progression, and participate in the implementation of the assays; conduct experiments directed towards determination of antagonist/agonist mechanisms; evaluate new cell-based assay technologies as required for screening or candidate molecule evaluation; analyze and summarize experimental data using a variety of laboratory instrumentation and computer software; communicate results of research to business partners through written reports and presentations
