The Society for Biological Engineering (SBE) and the AIChE Foundation proudly announce the SBE BioCatalyst Fund- a fundraising initiative to provide essential financial support for a range of annual bioengineering programs, including the development and expansion of biological engineering student initiatives.
The SBE BioCatalyst Fund will:
- Expand SBE student chapters and create a comprehensive student program similar to AIChE ScaleUp
- Engage the next generation of bioengineering leaders through an Annual SBE Student Conference
- Enhance online training and education services through Student Webinars
- Connect students and professionals through a new SBE mentorship program
- Develop exciting and diverse awards, scholarships and competitions
- Raise interest and awareness of biological engineering
The BioCatalyst Fund will provide fundamental resources to all members of the SBE community, increase awareness of biological engineering among all functions and activities of AIChE, cultivate future leaders, and enable the biological and chemical engineering community, as a whole, to have a greater impact on the world and the benefit we provide to society.
