About Us

Greetings from the Rocky Mountain Section!

RockyMtnRegionMapThe Rocky Mountain Section is one of the largest geographical areas in AIChE, and like the vastness of the interior west itself, encompasses a broad scope of industries including energy (traditional and alternative), biotech, microelectronic, and environmental.   Become involved, attend meetings and enjoy the benefits of networking, learning more about the industry in the local areas, and supporting the profession.

Mission

The objectives of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and, therefore, the Rocky Mountain Section are

»   To advance chemical engineering in theory and practice

»   To maintain a high professional standard among its members

»   To serve society, particularly where chemical engineering can contribute to the public interest.

Volunteers

The Rocky Mountain section is staffed and directed entirely by volunteers and cannot service its members without those willing to give back to the profession.  Are you interested in helping the AIChE Rocky Mountain section achieve its goals? Do you want to get more from your AIChE membership? Then volunteer to actively participate in our activities. Contact any officer if you are interested.
