Cote, Chairman and CEO of Honeywell; David T. Seaton, Chairman and CEO of Fluor; and Stephen F. Angel, Chairman, President and CEO of Praxair.

The society provides a forum for communication and networking among engineers and scientists who share interests in water research and water technology development, especially industrial water use and reuse.

Former AIChE President Leaves Legacy with Foundation Bequest

One recent Legacy Society inductee is the late Klaus Timmerhaus, AIChE’s president in 1976 and a Fellow of the Institute. Timmerhaus, who died in Feb. 2011, made a bequest of $100,000 to the AIChE Foundation, along with a request that the funds be allocated to AIChE’s Unrestricted General Fund.
