The Chemical Heritage Foundation celebrates Women’s History Month, and are proud to announce that an hour-long television segment based on The Catalyst Film Series: Women in Chemistry will debut March 27 on WHYY-TV12.

Young professional chemical engineer Sarah Ewing about moving from school to the professional world on a Google-Hangout video chat. Sarah graduated from UC Irvine 2010 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, has worked as a field engineer at Schlumberger and now serves as a field applications engineer at FMC.

2012 was a year of fundraising success and growth in program support thanks to the generous support from individuals and corporations. The AIChE Foundation raised over one million dollars from existing and new campaigns, a 50% increase in revenue versus 2011.

Kirk Schulz, a chemical engineer and President of Kansas State Univ. (Manhattan, KS), has received the 2012 Chief Executive Leadership Award from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
