AIChE Speakers Corner
AIChE's Speaker's Corner consists of a select group of leading experts and outstanding communicators who present keynote talks at AIChE Local Section meetings on a range of contemporary topics. You can use the Speakers Corner to:
- View and search for speakers
- Browse for speakers by their home location
- Find speakers by topic of interest & expertise
The website will enable you to learn about speakers and any prepared presentations they may have. Each speaker's page also contains directions for contacting them for speaking at your local section. Please note where each speaker is located, since the closer they are to your Local Section meeting, the easier their travel will be. Additionally, please note that all speakers are serving as volunteers to AIChE. They do not expect a stipend for their time with your Local Section, and any gift or honorarium is at your discretion. However, their travel costs are to be reimbursed by the Local Section.
In order to assist the Local Sections with travel cost reimbursement for speakers, AIChE will provide the first 20 Local Sections that utilize the Speaker's Corner with a travel stipend of up to $250. To apply for this stipend, please contact speakerscorner@aiche.org. Each Local Section can receive this travel stipend ONCE per calendar year.
Finally, while Local Sections are to make arrangements directly with the speaker, we ask that you please send an email to speakerscorner@aiche.org with the name of your Local Section, speaker and date of the meeting. This information is essential for ongoing maintenance and improvement of the Speaker's Corner in the coming year. Also, Local Sections should contact speakerscorner@aiche.org to receive the $250 travel stipend after the speaker has given his/her presentation.
