AIChE ChemE on Demand

Launched in July of 2009, ChemE on Demand is the latest online benefit for AIChE Members.  It is an electronic repository of chemical engineering content, both live and archived, drawn from AIChE, SBE, SEF, IFS, CCPS and many Divisions, Forums and Local Sections’ programming and publications.  We’re adding content every day.

Whether it’s a live webinar or the presentation of a paper from the 2010 Spring Meeting, it’s there for you to access.  And, once you’ve acquired the content, it is yours to keep.  It will always be accessible in your ‘My Content’ tab in ChemE on Demand.

Search by topic or keyword, name of author or where the content first appeared, the choice is yours.

And, best of all:

• All Professional Members of AIChE receive 6 free ChemE on Demand credits each year.  These credits are good for all of the content in ChemE on Demand.  Credit value of content ranges from .25 to 1.0 credit, so this benefit is worth as much as $700 and is free with your membership.  After you use up your 6 credits, you enjoy a low member rate on additional purchases of content, too.

• And, Undergraduate Student Members are entitled to tap the archives for free, on an unlimited basis and, they also get the the low “members-only” rates on any live content.

• Local Sections, Divisions and Forums and other groups have access to the content to use for a lunch & learn or other educational and networking event.  And teachers and professors can use as many archives as they need for classroom use.  For more information, contact chemepermissions@aiche.org.
