My AIChE

Membership

Dear Prospective SEF Members:

You may be aware that AIChE has created the Sustainable Engineering Forum (SEF) to spearhead programming in the interdisciplinary area of sustainability and sustainable systems. This Forum is chaired by Dr. Yinlun Huang, Professor at Wayne State University.

The SEF is intended to be a forum where experts from chemical engineering and other disciplines, such as biological sciences, environmental sciences, economists, ecologists, and urban planners, can interact with each other of various pursuits to advance the state of knowledge on sustainability, sustainability metrics and means of progressing towards sustainable state. The society has very actively arranged various activities. Please find the detailed information about the SEF's ongoing events and latest news  on this web site.

We invite you to consider joining this exciting forum. To be a regular member, a $20 annual fee is required. A full-time undergraduate or graduate student will have a free membership for two years if he or she is a paid AIChE member; otherwise, a $10 annual fee is required. Anyone who decides to join the Forum, please download a membership form (either Regular Membership Form or Student Membership Form) from this web site. A completed form (with payment if required) should be sent to the address that is printed in the form.

We are looking forward to hearing you in the near future, and would like to discuss with you if you have any concerns, suggestions, and plans.

Sincerely yours,

Raymond Smith, Ph.D.
