Second International Symposium on Sustainable Chemical Product and Process Engineering
HangZhou, China
May 9-12, 2010
With the objective of zero emissions, the greening of chemical products and processes adopts the scientific means to prevent pollution and various chemical processes to reduce the negative impact on human health and the environment, so as to improve the atom economy. The twelve principles of green chemistry embody the friendliness and protection to the environment, energy conservation, production safety etc., which is in line with the requirements of the scientific concept of development and has been attached great importance to by all countries. The First International Symposium on Sustainable Chemical Product and Process Engineering was successfully held in Guangzhou. The experts and scholars from various countries reached a consensus on the role of the green chemical technology in promoting the use of resources, preventing pollution, reducing energy consumption and protecting the ecology and environment. According to the resolutions of the symposium, the second Symposium will be held in Hangzhou, which is due to further exchange the latest developments of green chemical technology and product engineering, so as to promote the application and popularization of research results in the chemical technology and products utilization.
