Chemical Engineering / Entrepreneurship Competition

The winners announced at the Energy Efficiency Plenary by Dr. Amory Lovins at the AIChE Spring Meeting, March 23, 2010, San Antonio, TX.
Competition Paper Due Date: January 31, 2010.
This new competition focuses on capturing the methodology behind radically efficient designs of processes, devices and materials and highlighting the results. Chemical Engineering / Entrepreneurial teams will submit case studies for evaluation of transformational innovations that drastically reduce resource consumption at little or no increase in capital and operating costs. Expert judges will be invited to participate in selection of the winning teams. The top three cases will be selected by RMI, with due recognition given to pioneering organizations, as part of the larger 10xE program to enable efficient design by showcasing examples of thought leading innovations and methods.
