Having recently received a Safety Integrity Level 2 (SIL 2) rating, the XNX universal gas transmitter provides increased plant productivity and safety. In addition, it has been approved by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and ATEX for Class 1 and Class 2 use in intrinsically safe, explosionproof areas. It is designed for applications in the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, wastewater treatment, and manufacturing industries. This modular transmitter features an easy-to-use interface that reduces costs for installation, operation and maintenance. It is customizable, with more than 200 unique configurations available to meet specific requirements. XNX is compatible with all major industrial communications protocols (e.g., HART, Modbus, and Foundation Fieldbus) as well as all toxic and flammable gas-sensing technologies and instruments.
X5 gas detector
The X5 gas detector can measure up to five gases simultaneously using advanced electrochemical sensors. This rugged instrument is highly configurable, water-resistant and 50% lighter than competitive portable detectors. Having Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Canadian Underwriters Laboratories (CUL) certifications, the unit is suitable for monitoring indoor air quality, leaking pipes, hazardous spills, underground storage tanks, confined-space entryways, and many other industrial applications. It is capable of detecting H2S, CO, O2, SO2, PH3, NH3, NO2, HCN, Cl2, ClO2, O3 and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at concentrations from 0 to 1,000 ppm
Series 3000 XPIS detectors
The Series 3000 XPIS detects toxic and oxygen gas hazards commonly found in demanding industrial environments, such as those found in the chemical processing industries. Operating on a standard two-wire 20-mA loop, the detector uses existing two-wire systems, making it suitable for both new and retrofit installations. This detector has been certified as explosionproof and intrinsically safe. Designed to require minimal downtime for sensor replacement, the connections allow the hot swapping of sensors without the need to power down the whole device. Its magnetic user interface permits configuration and calibration without requiring the operator to open the enclosure or obtain a hot work permit.
