VersaMax Micro 64 control system
The VersaMax Micro 64 control system provides a flexible and scalable automation solution through a wide range of input/output expansion modules, a variety of communication options, and multiple operator interfaces. A common software programming and tag database for the operator interface and controller shortens engineering development time and simplifies troubleshooting. A user-friendly memory module can be connected to the controller to download the latest program changes without the need for a personal computer. Software allows interfacing with a Palm handheld device, enabling the user to monitor/change data, view diagnostics, force on/off, and configure machine setup from the PDA. An abundance of memory — 48k of user ladder logic programming and 32k of data registers — enables the system to solve complex applications requiring multiple program storage and large data storage for faster setup/changeover or system monitoring. More than 25 discrete I/O expansion options and six analog I/O expansion options are available.

Municipal Water Package
To ensure the efficient delivery of potable water and the safe disposal of wastewater, municipal water systems have to be monitored and controlled around the clock. The Municipal Water Package allows municipalities to use this operational data to reduce energy and chemical costs. Based on the Proficy products, the package includes HMI/SCADA-iFIX, which provides process visualization, data acquisition and supervisory control. The Historian collects, archives and distributes large volumes of realtime, plant floor information to provide a window into manufacturing operations across all key metrics. Portal provides a web-based overview of all key metrics so municipalities can operate more efficiently.

iFIX 4.5
The human-machine-interface supervisory control and data- acquisition (HMI/SCADA) software iFIX 4.5 provides comprehensive monitoring, control and data management. This new version addresses a wide range of customer-identified needs, advanced reliability to improved ease of use, while adding more power and flexibility. In producing this update, designers focused on making infrastructure improvements and customer-requested usability updates. The iFIX 4.5 supports operation on the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. The software automatically adopts the latest operating system look and feel throughout all of its applications and dialogs. Another major enhancement is dynamo versioning, which assigns names, version numbers and descriptions, to dynamos. Double-precision math in the iFIX Process Database translates to an ability to deliver 15 digits of data precision for all internal calculations and data use. Backwards compatibility will be achieved with existing systems while enabling newer iFIX nodes to leverage the new data precision.
