INFI-SEAL
The INFI-SEAL technology for electric process heaters provides improved heater reliability and eliminates moisture-related start-up problems and is backed with a two-year limited warranty against moisture penetration. The INFI-SEAL transforms the MgO in a tubular heater’s cold section from hygroscopic to hydrophobic (from readily absorbing water to repelling water). Its treated heating elements exhibit infinite resistance to ground and do not absorb or retain moisture.

Vaporizers
These vaporizers are designed for use in process industries such as chemical, petrochemical, textile, and others requiring large amounts of accurately controlled heat at high temperatures and low operating pressures. Recirculating fluids such as Dowtherm A, Dowtherm J and Therminol VP-1 can be maintained at temperatures as high as 750°F. Utilizing the vapor phase of these heat-transfer fluids promotes high heat-transfer rates and also close temperature control. Other liquids that can be vaporized include ammonia and liquefied gases.

Gaumer Hot Oil System (GHOS) series
The custom Gaumer Hot Oil System (GHOS) series is used in heating revolving rolls, platens, molds, jacketed tanks, and autoclaves. It has a pre-engineered design package that has been field tested under continuous operation at temperatures up to 650°F. Low watt-density Incoloy 800 sheath-heating elements are arranged to provide an even distribution of heat inside the tube bundle. The unique “buffer tank” design solves oil degradation problems associated with hot oil (over 150°F) reaching the expansion tank without the need for a nitrogen purge system. A customized control panel may be remotely mounted in a non-hazardous area.

Hot Oil System
Featuring a rugged, pre-engineered design package tested for continuous operation at temperatures up to 650°F, this custom Hot Oil System is designed for use in heating revolving rolls, platens, molds, jacketed tanks and autoclaves. The arrangement of low watt-density sheath heating elements provides heat inside the tube bundle. The buffer tank design eliminates the oil degradation problems commonly associated with systems using hot oil (over 150°F). The pump suction features a self-venting chamber to automatically remove low boilers. Suitable for use in a petrochemical plant, this package can be used to ensure even heat and a smooth distribution of product for polyethylene sheet manufacturing. This even heating capability also makes the system useful in pharmaceutical manufacturing and in pulp-and-paper processing.
