Haver Tyler CPA 2-1 photo-optical particle size and shape analyzer
The Haver Tyler CPA 2-1 photo-optical particle size and shape analyzer measures dry, free-flowing and nonagglomerating particles in the laboratory. In 3–5 min, it performs an analysis that would take 15–20 min to do with a test sieve and shaker. The latter method measures particles indirectly by calculating the percentage of a selected standard size in a representative sample, whereas the CPA 2-1 accurately counts and measures each individual particle in real-time. It has user-friendly software that correlates the raw particle-count data to the sieving distribution curve for comparison.

Tyler Sieving Software 3.0 records, prints, and saves data for laboratory sieve analysis. Its user-friendly spreadsheet interface can be personalized for each sieve test. The software requires the technician to choose a sieve series for testing, as well as the sample weight retained on each sieve following the test run. The software then performs the rest of the calculations, creating statistical and graphical displays for analysis.
