Tri-Flow filters
Tri-Flow compact filters deliver high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA)-level performance with a MERV 16 rating. They have large filter surface areas, low operating pressure drops, and typical efficiencies of 99.999% for 0.5-mm and larger particles. Seven filter media are available, including options for oleophobic, high-temperature, and anti-static applications. All media are pleated and continuously bonded for stability. Filter replacement can be done quickly from the clean-air side of the collector, which eliminates the risk of hazardous dust exposure.
UltraTemp hot-gas filtration system
The UltraTemp hot-gas filtration system improves upon traditional ceramic filters made from high-density granular powders, which are brittle and prone to cracking and breakage due to thermal shock. UltraTemp filters are made from low-density ceramic fibers that provide very high resistance to thermal shock. This makes the filters very ductile and resistant to crack formation. The unique composition of the ceramic enables fine particulates to be captured at the fiber surface without blinding. The filters are easy to clean using standard pulse-jet techniques. Being fibrous, rather than granular, the elements are lightweight. They have high porosity with low resistance to flow, which minimizes the number of elements required for a given application. The UltraTemp Filtration system provides optimal filtration for gases between 400°F and 1,000°F, and can be applied to hot gas streams up to a maximum operating temperature of 1,650°F. It typically achieves filtration to as low as 0.001 grain/dscf (2 mg/N-m3), with particulate concentrations a fraction of this in some applications. The ceramic filters are highly resistant to chemicals and corrosion. Applications include syngas cleanup, glass production, waste incineration, and biomass pyrolysis.
MultiPhase BioSystem
The MultiPhase BioSystem is capable of controlling volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions from virtually all sources. A practical alternative to thermal oxidizers, in-bed biofiltration systems, and aerobic digestion, it combines characteristics of an in-bed bioscrubber and aerobic digestion with the high removal efficiency of micron-scale mist scrubbing. It treats high inlet concentrations of VOC emissions, including such alcohols as methanol and other high-vapor-pressure compounds, as well as more difficult turpenes and pinenes. The system can be sited close to the emission source, which minimizes cost and duct complexity. It can be installed as a tower with a small footprint, as well as in other configurations to meet a facility’s space constraints. The system provides high removal rates for high particulate concentrations and heavy loadings of biological treatment products without clogging media beds. Its media is permanent, eliminating the need to replace either the media or the packing.
Roto-Molded Tanks
Available in polypropylene and polyethylene, these rotomolded tanks are impact-resistant with high tensile and flexural strength. They are ideal for environmental cleanup projects, as well as chemical storage. Roto-molded tanks using flameretardant resins and anti-static resins are available. Tanks are manufactured in 0.25-in. gauge or 0.50-in. gauge for heavy service applications. Capacities range up to 10,000 gal.
