These metal felt filter elements are made from thin filaments of non-woven stainless steel. Combining high-pressure and high-temperature capabilities with corrosion resistance, these filter elements are appropriate for use in high-pressure, highly corrosive, highly viscous or radioactive applications. The long-lasting metal felt provides reliable particle retention and dirt-holding capabilities but is highly porous (up to 85%), so it enables flowrates that are up to 20 times those of competing alternatives, such as fiber elements made from wire cloth, sintered metal, or non-metallic fibers.
