Steel-It anti-rust stainless steel coatings create a metallic barrier that helps prevent corrosive attack from chemicals, solvents, detergents, salt spray and power washing. Suitable for machinery and conveyors where all-stainless steel construction is impractical, these single-component paints exhibit 2H pencil hardness, so they resist chipping and scratching from tools and carts. USDA-approved, they can be applied by brush, roller or spray systems, yielding a smooth metallic-gray finish that can last up to 10 years, depending on the environment.

STEEL IT stainless-steel epoxy system
Comprised of an epoxy primer and a finish coating with Type 316L stainless steel leafing pigment, the STEEL IT stainless-steel epoxy system creates a gray satin finish that is resistant to water, salt air, detergents and solvents. The system is designed for fabricators and builders of above water railings and other structures facing similar environmental challenges. Durable and chip-resistant, the coating is available by quart or gallon, and can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun. The leafing pigment system overlays itself, forming a protective metallic barrier capable of withstanding a continuous 2,000-salt spray test.
