Model T11 Bulk Bag Super Discharger
The Model T11 Bulk Bag Super Discharger (BBD) is designed for critical applications in industries where hygiene and rapid dismantling of components without tools are essential to avoid microbiological growth or cross-contamination between batches. The discharger is manufactured entirely of stainless steel with a bead-blast or mirror-polish finish. It can be completely stripped down in minutes by two employees. Since it has no dead pockets, the BBD is easy to pressure wash, steam clean, manually clean, and/or sterilize. All electrical and pneumatic connections are interlocked to ensure IP 67 or better protection against dust ingression (depending on the application and cleaning regime). Three types of optional bag massagers (side, base, and corner) are available to promote material flow from compact bags or bags that contain difficult materials.

Pneumatically Powered Massage Paddles
Bulk-bag dischargers and unloaders often experience difficulties dispensing compacted or otherwise hard-to-move solids. This firm offers three types of pneumatically powered massage paddles to promote the flow of compacted, cohesive, or sticky materials from bulk bags. Side massagers can be moved vertically to achieve optimum position (which is usually along the bottom one-third of the bag). Base massagers are used to break up materials that have been compacted along the bottom of the bag. Corner massagers apply lump-breaking forces needed to ensure that all four corners of the bag are completely emptied. Concurrently with massaging, patented spring-support arms stretch the bag and any liner to ensure that no product is left behind in the folds.

Flexible Screw Conveyor
This flexible screw conveyor uses a spiral screw powered by a direct-drive electric motor to move dry bulk solids at high throughput. Its design features fewer parts subject to wear, which reduces manufacturing costs and provides greater flexibility in adapting to new applications. Its only moving part is the spiral screw that rotates inside a sealed tube to move and homogenize material. Faster rotation of the spiral screw increases capacity, allowing the use of a smaller conveyor to handle larger loads, which saves on floor space and reduces equipment investment costs. It is easy to clean by simply reversing the motor and dry-brushing or flushing with liquid. Optional interlocked, quick-release connectors permit rapid disassembly and reassembly, which minimizes downtime.

The Model CS Spirofil bulk bag filler
The Model CS Spirofil bulk bag filler offers bag-filling by volume. The process requires that bags be inflated prior to filling to ensure that they are fully extended and without folds or creases that could reduce capacity, cause instability, or create discharging problems. The bag-filler design ensures dust-free, spill-free filling at rates up to 20 one-ton bags per hour. When filled, the bags are erect and upright, making them stable for safe handling, storage and transportation. The unit provides an efficient and economic means of filling bags for removal by lift truck for industries such as chemicals, animal feed, plastics, minerals, aggregates, and food, dairy and pharmaceutical.

Spirostore silos
These flexible Spirostore silos provide quick, efficient and safe storage of bulk solids and ingredients. They are made of a durable and flexible polyester fabric that is supported by a steel frame. The silos can store up to 7,000 ft3 of dry bulk material and support weights up to 90,000 lb. They can be custom-manufactured in user-selected shapes, sizes and fabrics to meet space and discharge requirements. The silos are designed for operation in indoor and other weatherproof locations, and can be connected to any type of the manufacturer’s flexible screw, aero-mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum conveyor systems for filling and emptying stored material. They are suitable for use in the plastics, recycling, pharmaceutical and food industries.

Spiroflow Type 3 bulk bag discharger
The Spiroflow Type 3 bulk bag discharger accurately dispenses batches weighing from 22 lb to 3,300 lb. It uses electronic load cells directly below the top bag-holding frame, ensuring that the bag and load cells are safely off the floor and out of the way of facility hazards. An optional integral transfer conveyor, such as a flexible screw discharge conveyor, can also be suspended from the holding frame for a totally self-contained discharge and loss-in-weight dispensing system that is dust- and contamination-free. The discharger is capable of removing partially emptied bulk bags, each of which is loaded into the frame by hoist or forklift and sealed at the bottom spout within the dust cabinet of the discharge chute. Product flows from the chute into the integral flexible-screw discharge conveyor. A patented spout-closure device lets the operator untie the bag through an access door without releasing product from the bag; once the access door is closed, the spout closure device can be opened to allow product flow.

Flexible Screw Conveyor
The mobility of this flexible screw conveyor allows for easy changeover, permitting different products to be conveyed using the same conveyor. The conveyor’s UHMWPE tube and steel spiral can be easily disassembled and cleaned with little downtime. Featuring locking swivel wheels for stability, the unit can be easily maneuvered in tight facility locations. The conveyor is controlled using an onboard control panel that can be pre-programmed. Different tube diameters and lengths to accommodate required rates up to 100,000 ft3/h are available.

Flexible-Screw Conveyor
With a maximum output of over 44 ton/h, the 834 flexiblescrew conveyor (FSC) can convey at inclines up to 60 deg. at 100% full capacity, while competitive rigid-screw conveyors top out at 30–40 deg. and convey at only 30–45%. Other advantages include continuous mixing of product and variable-speed drives for accurate metering. The 834 FSC is available in carbon or stainless steel.
