Max-Trak Model 180
Touted as the industry’s only NEMA 6 (IP67)-compliant industrial mass-flow controller, the Max-Trak Model 180 is wellsuited for applications where frequent wash-down or hose-down is required. In addition, the instrument comes with the only fully enclosed valve design to drastically minimize leak-in paths. The Max-Trak measures and controls gas mass flowrates from 0 to 200 L/min in a flow body a little over 5 in. long. It has an accuracy of ±0.1% of full scale, and a repeatability of ±0.2% of full scale to ensure process stability, even under changing conditions. The unit includes Dial-A-Gas technology that allows users to select from up to 10 gases in one instrument. Other key features include: both digital and analog communication; genuine 50:1 turndown; operation at low differential pressures; and the ability to view and change critical parameters in the field without sacrificing performance or returning the instrument to a service center.

Boiler-Trak mass flowmeter
Designed for use in natural-gas-flow measurement applications, the Boiler-Trak mass flowmeter is easy to install or retrofit into existing piping. It provides the mass flowrate and totalized flow (200 ms response to changes in flowrate) of the natural gas burned. The versatile microprocessor-based transmitter integrates the functions of flow-range adjustment, meter validation and diagnostics in a probe-mounted NEMA 4X (IP65) housing. Mass flowrate and totalized flow, as well as other configuration variables, can be displayed on the meter’s optional 2 × 12 backlit LCD panel. The Boiler-Trak also provides an optical/galvanic isolated 4–20-mA output, two alarm outputs and one contact input for range or gas selection. The meter is suitable for pipes or ducts from 1.25 in. to 6 in.

Micro-Trak 101 Series high-performance digital mass flowmeter
With state-of-the-art sensor technology and highly engineered direct-acting valve design, the Micro-Trak 101 Series high-performance digital mass flowmeter accurately measures and controls mass flows of gas previously thought by scientists to be too low for a reliable reading. The flowmeter is specifically designed for flow ranges under 4 cm3/min with a minimum controllable mass flowrate of 0.1 cm3/min. Excellent accuracy (±1.0% of full scale) and repeatability (±0.2%) coupled with unsurpassed instrument stability offer users an instrument they can consistently depend on. Micro-Trak’s all-stainless-steel flow path (with elastomer seals to eliminate leaks) is suitable for most clean gases, including corrosives and toxics. The small footprint (3.0 in. × 1.0 in.), 24-VDC power and choice of multiple communications make installation easy.

Innova-Sonic In-Line Model 206
The Innova-Sonic In-Line Model 206 is a digital transit-time ultrasonic flowmeter designed for liquid applications that require high mag­netic-flowmeter performance at an affordable price. It features a reading accuracy of ±0.5% and can measure down to zero flow in virtually any clean liquid, regardless of conductivity. This model works on conductive liquids only, meaning that it cannot measure hydrocarbons, distilled water or many nonaqueous solutions. It uses the manufacturer’s PicoFly technology, which allows ultrasonic time-of-flight to be measured in picoseconds rather the nanosecond performance of typical flowmeters. This improvement provides superior response to changes in flow as well as excellent resolution that enables extremely low flow detection.
