Side Entry Mixers
These heavy-duty side-entry mixers are designed with easy access to all bearings, seals, grease fittings and lube ports. They can be maintained using off-the-shelf commercial components to minimize costs and downtime. They feature steel housings, rigid motor mounts, oversized shafting, Dodge type E piloted dual-tapered roller bearings, belt drives with QD-style bushings, and HYFLO 4-blade impellers. Seal materials and construction materials are customizable. The mixers are available in sizes ranging from 1.5–300-hp motors, 1.5–6-in.-dia. shafts, and 12–48-in. impellers. Typical applications include petroleum refining, fluegas desulfurization (FGD), food and beverage processing, mining, pulp and paper production, and waste treatment.

Asphalt Mixers
These V-Series side-entry belt mixers can handle a wide variety of asphalt mixing applications. They are constructed with steel housings, rigid motor mounts, oversize shafting, piloted dual-tapered roller bearings, and belt drives, and they have large open areas that provide easy access for servicing. Their high-efficiency HYFLO 4-blade impellers and seals can be configured to match user requirements. The mixers are available in 1.5–300 hp sizes, with shaft diameters in the 1.5–6.0-in. range and impellers in the 12–48-in. range

HYFLO hydrofoil impellers
HYFLO hydrofoil impellers can be used to upgrade a mixer or agitator to provide a very high flow-to-power ratio. They can provide twice as much flow as a 45-deg. pitched-blade impeller for the same amount of power, or provide equal flow for half the power. They have an efficient, stable 4-blade design that features tapered blades with a narrow, low-pitched section at the tip where the speed is fastest and a wider, higher-pitched section near the hub where it is slower. Models range in size from 3 in. to 210 in. dia., and can be made from Type 316 stainless steel, titanium and other alloys.

Sharpe PB-Series Pharmaceutical Mixers
The Sharpe PB-Series Pharmaceutical Mixers feature an IEC frame motor that weighs only 7 lbs. and all-steel drive systems with a Type 316L stainless steel dry-running mechanical seal, pedestal, and wetted parts. Ideally suited for batch processing from 5 to 200 L, these portable mixers have a sanitary Tri-Clamp mount, meet ASME BPE standards, and are SIP/CIP cleanable. The mixers can be configured with shafts up to 48-in long and polished from 5 to 40 Ra plus electropolishing. Several impeller configurations are offered and a white epoxy drive is standard. A Type 316L stainless steel drive is optional. Retractable shafts for hinged and covered tanks are also optional
