Aggregate Diverter
The Aggregate Diverter offers users a heavy-duty, maintenance- friendly diverter capable of handling abrasive materials (e.g., coal, gravel, sand, whole grains) in gravity flow applications. Available in a complete size range from 6 in. through 24 in., the Aggregate Diverter offers optional “dead pocket” inlet and “honeycombed” bucket deflector for more abrasive applications. Other options include abrasion-resistant polymer or “honeycombed” chute liners. Interior bucket seals increase material handling efficiency, promote smooth bucket actuation and minimize material migration to the off leg. A removable access panel allows inspection or maintenance of the diverter without removing it from service.
Vortex Stainlesssteel Iris Valve
Available in both infi- nite-position and quick-lock models, the Vortex stainlesssteel iris valve may be configured to meet a variety of application requirements. These can include: Type 304 stainless steel body with Type 304 stainless material contact; Type 304 stainless steel body with Type 316L stainless material contact; and Type 316L body with Type 316L stainless material contact. The patent-pending valve is precisionmachined to ensure its components actuate smoothly and the flange connections match and seal properly. Sizes range from 4-in to 15-in. diameters. The valve is ideal for use in food and pharmaceutical applications, where sanitary conditions are required.
Vortex HDP slide gate
The Vortex HDP slide gate handles non-abrasive to abrasive powders, granules and pellets. It isolates pressures up to 5 bars (75 psig) depending on size and will not leak to atmosphere or across the valve. The maintenance-friendly HDP slide gate contains a displacement pocket that reduces/eliminates material packing as the blade closes. The unit was developed to address applications, including: gates placed at the discharge of bins or silos experiencing high aeration; gates located above or below airlocks feeding into higher pressure conveying lines; gates used with scaling operations where air pressure leakage through the valve could potentially cause weight variances; process gates for dense phase conveying systems. Patent-pending, unique features include self-adjusting blade and clevis; self-adjusting bonnet seal cartridge; and“tombstone” blade design and outlet transition.
