ScadaMobile application for the iPhone/iPod
The ScadaMobile application for the iPhone/iPod gives engineers access to live process control variables and the ability to modify these data remotely. It creates a secure wireless interface between an iPhone and an existing 802.11 wireless network on the plant floor, enabling the phone to read Modbus TCP/IP and Ethernet/IP process control variables from programmable automation controllers (PACs) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) throughout the plant. These live values are displayed in stylized lists and include user-established variance allowances and alarms. The 802.11n industrial hotspots feature WPA2-PSK and 802.11i RADIUS security, which prevent unauthorized access and modification to the network.

The full-function inRAx single-slot, in-chassis line of computers is now available with the version 2.05 upgrade. These integrated modules are less expensive than stand-alone options. They feature faster speed and improved capabilities because they are tied directly into the backplane of the controller. The modules serve as an add-on calculator to the processor without burdening the programmable logic controller with complicated flow algorithms. The upgrade’s features include a Modbus dictionary that acts as a data index, multi-meter runs, and data archival/event logging.
