www.parker.com PV360 modular axial piston pump
The modular PV360 axial piston pump, the latest addition to the PVplus axial piston pump family, is available for a range of heavy-duty mobile and industrial applications with operating pressures up to 5,000 psi (350 bar). This variable-displacement, 360-cm3/rev pump features a large servo piston for fast response. A patented ripple chamber technology reduces pressure and flow pulsation by 40–60% compared with similar pumps. As a result, fewer sine waves (which can loosen hydraulic connections and damage downstream components) are introduced into the system, and pump noise is reduced.
Balston filters
Balston filters can take 99.99% of oil, water, rust and pipescale particles of at least 0.01 µm out of compressed air and other gases. They are constructed of Type 304 stainless steel, which enables them to withstand very harsh environments, such as those in food and beverage, chemicals, refinery, and pulp and paper facilities. They are available in 0.25–1.0-in. line sizes with flow capacities to over 700 std. ft3/min, and are available with automatic drains and a high-efficiency filter cartridge installed.
torque limiter
This torque limiter has been designed to provide horsepower control for mobile and industrial applications of P1/PD series pumps. This option allows the use of smaller, more energy-efficient prime movers. The limiter adjusts flow in the circuit to keep the prime mover from stalling under heavy loads, reducing the maximum horsepower available while handling the same load. Using the pump’s hanger angle, the limiter monitors both pressure and displacement. As pressure rises, flow is reduced according to the zero-adjustment spring rate of the limiter. When pressure reaches its full value, the system’s compensator assumes control.
Balston 76 Series explosionproof air dryers
Balston 76 Series explosionproof air dryers can operate in hazardous environments without costly National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)-rated enclosures. They achieve a consistent –40°F dewpoint and can handle flowrates up to 40 std. ft3/min. The dryers use industrial-grade membrane technology to remove all humidity from compressed air without the need for electrical components, such as relays and contacts that pose a risk of fire or explosion. Their high-efficiency coalescing prefilters remove both liquid and solid contaminants down to 0.01 µm to provide instrument-quality air to critical downstream applications.
Pilot Pro
Pilot Pro is a communications interface for process sample conditioning systems that provides a link between plant process control operations and analyzer maintenance networks, regardless of their locations. Consisting of a sensor and solenoid administration module, it acquires, transmits and manages real-time sample system information via an electronic interface, facilitating critical process control decision-making. Its communication ability allows engineers and technicians to receive critical sample system data (pressure, temperature and flow) to promote proactive maintenance activities and reduce system downtime. It supports a variety of communication protocols, including Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, among others.
PRNA Series miniature rotary actuator
A vane seal that is custom-molded to a machined shaft and vane construct to create a one-piece shaft/vane/seal assembly gives the PRNA Series miniature rotary actuator its durability and strength, and increases its overall reliability. It is versatile enough for use in lubricated or non-lubricated filtered air at pressures ranging from 30 to 150 psi (0.2 to 1.0 MPa). A rounded vane design provides lower vane-seal bypass than typical rotary actuators. Standard internal bumpers provide quiet operation for high-speed applications. The stock rear output shaft is designed for easy accessibility and manual override in the event of an air pressure loss. The PRNA offers standard rotations of 90 deg., 180 deg. or 270 deg. Its operating temperature range is –5°C to 80°C (–23°F to 176°F), and its filtration requirement is 40-mm filtered, dry air.
