AF26 dual-channel absorption sensor
The AF26 dual-channel absorption sensor takes precise inline measurements of color and concentration that can be used to improve product quality, maximize yield, minimize product loss, and detect contaminants, as well as prevent excessive discharge to waste treatment facilities. It is suitable for use in most clean-in-place/sanitize-in-place (CIP/SIP) procedures, and can accommodate hazardous area classifications and extreme temperatures and pressures.

NIST-traceable calibration package
This complete NIST-traceable calibration package is comprised of nonintrusive calibration accessories that have been designed for the manufacturer’s inline UV sensors AF45 and AF46. Similar to features afforded to spectro_photometer calibrations, these filters test: photometric accuracy and linearity, with an absorbance up to 2.4 available; stray radiant energy or blocking, which is the most important test in measuring photometrics; and wavelength verification and spectral stability, which ensures measurement consistency. The calibration cuvette FH03 allows nonintrusive introduction of product samples or liquid calibration standards for direct comparison to a laboratory spectrophotometer.

Control 4000 photometric converter
When used in conjunction with the manufacturer’s inline sensors for ultraviolet/visible/near infrared (UV-VIS-NIR) light, turbidity, and pH/conductivity, the Control 4000 microprocessor-based photometric converter provides real-time measurements for liquid and gas process control. The converter is constructed of stainless steel and is suitable for virtually all sanitary clean-in-place (CIP) and sterilize-in-place (SIP) applications. It can also withstand hazardous environments at extreme temperatures and pressures. Common applications include chemical concentration in solutions (such as Cl2, ClO2, H2O2, O3, permanganate, acids, etc.), trace hydrocarbons and aromatics (benzene toluene xylene) in water, free water in refined fuels/hydrocarbons, ASTM/Saybolt/APHA color measurements, turbidity and suspended solids measurements. Features include: simultaneous operation of up to four inline sensors; remote process control functions; readings in ppm, EBC (European Brewing Convention), FTU (phytase units), and g/L, among others; an integrated data logger for quality control; simple menu-based software; and advanced software tools.

TF16-N NIR absorption sensor
The TF16-N NIR absorption sensor measures solids, turbidity, concentration, consistency and optical density. Its dual-beam design compensates for background color or color changes. Designed to control and automate a variety of demanding industrial gas and liquid processes, the TF16-N monitors in-line for precise, real-time results that are repeatable. The sensor body is 316L stainless steel with sapphire optical windows. It is suitable for CIP/SIP applications, with optional hazardous-area classification available.

Optek AF46 Dual Wavelength UV Absorption Sensor
The optek AF46 dual wavelength UV absorption sensor features two discrete measurement channels, each with separate wavelengths. This allows a differential measurement that provides superior baseline stability and background noise rejection. Ideally suited for biotechnology and pharmaceutical applications, such as chromatographic separation, the AF46 can measure extremely high protein concentrations in ranges up to 30 OD. The AF46 is suited for CIP/SIP and Ultra-sanitary applications, and is available with NIST-traceable validation accessories.
