FTE Series Steam Traps
The FTE Series, high capacity, float and thermostatic steam traps in sizes 1/2 in. to 2 in., handles pressures from 5 psi to 464 psi and temperatures to 850°F. They are available with cast iron, ductile iron or cast steel bodies and offer the following features: stainless steel thermostatic element, which eliminates air binding; below condensate level seat design to prevent steam leakage; discharge capacity up to 31,000 gal of condensate/h; stainless steel float and lever mechanism for improved performance and prolonged steam trap service life; in-line reparability and resistance to water hammer and corrosion. The steam traps are ideal for use in stream process equipment, hot water generators, heat exchangers, absorption systems, unit heaters and cooking kettles.
“Steam Trap Designer’s Guide,” 3rd edition
The “Steam Trap Designer’s Guide,” 3rd edition, has been written to help engineers, facility managers, maintenance managers, and equipment buyers in the design, specification and purchasing of steam traps. It contains application and specification information on industrial and sanitary steam and compressed air products, as well as a steam trap primer for selecting the correct traps and related products for a particular application.
CoMBo condensate measuring elbow thermostatic sanitary steam trap
Developed specifically for clean steam equipment condensate drainage in the pharmaceutical, bioprocess, electronic, food, beverage and cosmetic industries, the CoMBo condensate measuring elbow thermostatic sanitary steam trap features the firm’s ultra-sensitive bellows that maintain less than 6 in. of condensate backup, instead of the traditional 18 in., for loads ranging from 1 to 27 lb/h for vessels sized up to 40,000 L. The steam trap meets ASME BPE code and has 30–50% higher discharge capacity than standard industry sanitary steam traps. It is available with a 3/4-in. horizontal or vertical inlet, with an optional thermowell for a resistance-temperature detector (RTD); 3/4-in. though 1-1/2-in. outlet, and is designed for pressures to 40 psig and temperatures to 292°F.
