TC Series butterfly valves
TC Series butterfly valves are a lightweight, cost-effective solution for piping applications that require higher temperatures and pressure settings. Their triple-offset frictionless-disc design allows for lower torques and pressure-assisted sealing at temperatures from –321°F to 1,022°F (–196°C to 550°C). These valves meet the requirements of the American Petroleum Institute (API) 609 standard, and thus can serve as economical replacements for gate, globe and ball valves. They are available in sizes of 3–24 in. with wafer, lug or double-flanged designs, and will fit most piping requirements up to and including American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) class 600 pressures. TC valves are suitable for use in gas, oil, refining, chemical, marine, power generation and pipeline transmission applications.
