Foxboro I/A Series pressure transmitters
The Foxboro I/A Series pressure transmitters are micro-processor-based transmitters that provide precise measurement of differential and gauge pressure. They are available for applications handling liquids, gases, and vapors, and transmit 4- to 20-mA d.c. analog and digital signals, according to the measured differential or gauge pressure. They enable two-way communications using HART protocol, which allows self-diagnosis, range resetting, and automatic zero adjustment.

SmartGlance
SmartGlance is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application that allows managers, engineers, and operators to access the most current process and equipment performance data from plant automation systems and data sources directly from their smartphones. SmartGlance is a native phone app, not a web client, that allows users to take advantage of the display features of touchscreen-based smartphones to access and scroll through reports. Users can manipulate tabular reports, bar charts, and pie charts, and can issue or share reports with co-workers via email. In addition, three security layers protect sensitive company data.

Triconex Trident safety system version 2.1.1
Version 2.1.1 of the Triconex Trident safety system contains two input modules that enhance worker safety and reduce downtime. An enhanced pulse-input module measures speed, rate of speed change, and rate of acceleration of rotating equipment in milliseconds, which permits faster prediction of over-speed conditions that could jeopardize personnel, interrupt operations, or damage equipment. A high-resolution digital input module optimizes trip-data analysis by monitoring changes of state and event sequences with a timestamp resolution of 1 ms and an accuracy of 1 ms.

Triconex/Tofino OPC firewall
The Triconex/Tofino OPC firewall strengthens industrial safety sys--tems against network accidents and attacks. It combines content-inspection firewall technology from Byres Security and the security hardware development of MTL Instruments with the OPC communications servers of Invensys. The system automatically mitigates risks related to known distributed component object model (DCOM) vulnerabilities. Its dynamic port management and built-in traffic-rate controls prevent basic network problems from spreading throughout a plant. It provides tighter integration of safety and asset management systems to share data and prevent trips. Placing the firewall in front of the Triconex OPC server thwarts attacks and traffic storms before they reach the safety and critical control system.

Visual Flow Version 5.3
Visual Flow Version 5.3 is fluid simulation software that designs and rates flares and relief networks. This release integrates with the manufacturer’s SimSci-Esscor SIM4ME Portal, which acts as a user interface for data in MS Excel. It includes an enhanced solver, as well as four new solvers that can be adapted to accurately model almost any configuration in a plant.
