CADWorx DraftPro
Offered as a free download, CADWorx DraftPro is an AutoCAD-based 2D plant design and layout solution. The software includes hundreds of ready-to-use specifications in metric and imperial formats. Users can choose from more than 60,000 standard piping components, or quickly generate pieces as needed. Piping automatically breaks to accommodate inserted components and ease connectivity. Users may draw elevations and layouts, and produce a bill of materials for the design. DraftPro uses the same piping specifications as CADWorx Plant Professional, allowing 2D-to-3D design conversions, if necessary. DraftPro functions with all supported versions of AutoCAD.

PV Elite 2012
Part of the CADWorx and Analysis Solutions family of products, the PV Elite 2012 pressure-vessel and exchanger design and analysis software has been updated to reflect recent revisions to ASME Codes. This release incorporates updates to ASME Section VIII Division 1 and Division 2 2011a; the material databases in Tables 1A/1B and 5A/5B; the ASME pure-metric yield stress database; PD 5500:2009; and several wind/seismic codes.

CADWorx 2012 Plant Design Suite,
The newest version of CADWorx 2012 Plant Design Suite, which is now compatible with AutoCAD 2012, features several new performance enhancements. CADWorx Plant Professional identifies component discontinuities and overlaps in the model and has full reporting capabilities. An improved pipe-support module provides greater flexibility in pipe-support placement and extends bill-of-material capabilities to pipe-support subassemblies. The equipment module includes a new center-of-gravity calculator for modeling equipment such as vessels and exchangers. Designers can also add stiffening rings internally and orient rings around their primary axes. In addition to live database capabilities, CADWorx P&ID Professional offers direct data export to Microsoft Excel.

Intergraph PV Elite 2011
Intergraph PV Elite 2011 has been updated with new modeling capabilities for jacketed vessels, vapor belts, and tubesheets with simple supports. The integrated 3D modeling allows jackets or vapor belts to be added as details on the main elements, with jackets spanning across element boundaries. This provides easier, faster, and more-accurate models, since it eliminates the need to manually transfer between separate vessel and jacket models. The welded joint between the tubesheet and the shell or the channel cylinders can be modeled, which can reduce stress and produce a more-economical design that meets code requirements. PV Elite also includes all of the updates in the ASME code for vessel engineering and design.

SmartPlant Instrumentation
SmartPlant Instrumentation helps prevent failure by better managing and storing instrumentation and control data. It helps avoid unscheduled shutdowns by using the most up-to-date information for better planning and maintenance. SmartPlant Instrumentation brings all instrumentation information together so that it can be easily accessed and updated to ensure consistency across the different instrument tasks and deliverables. This latest version features SmartPlant Engineering Manager, which allows the user to copy the complete plant design package, including the hierarchy, item tags and the reference data of the best, proven plant designs, and use them as a baseline for the design of new plants, thus saving valuable design time.

Intergraph Standard Database (SDB) for SmartPlant Reference Data
The Intergraph Standard Database (SDB) for SmartPlant Reference Data is a centralized means of efficient managing of catalogs and specifications for multiple design systems and materials management. Its initial release is configured to support 90 metallic piping component definitions according to various U.S. standards, such as ASME/ANSI and API. The content for metallic piping includes more than 10,000 commodity codes and more than 1 million individual parts with full dimensional data for 3D modeling and weights. The SDB for Smart Plant Reference Data can reduce project implementation time by 3–12 months, and cut operating costs by minimizing training and eliminating the need for clients to re-enter the same standard reference data. It can also provide a common collaboration platform for all joint venture partners in a project supply chain spanning the entire project lifecycle.

CloudWorx laser-scanning
This new CloudWorx laser-scanning software enhances and extends the usefulness and value of rich laser scan data for plant design, construction, maintenance and operations. Real-world as-built data can now easily be visualized directly in Intergraph’s SmartPlant Review. This enhances the effectiveness of both the engineering task force and owner/operator review process for retrofit projects, resulting in smoother and lower-risk retrofit construction projects and improved plant operations and maintenance. This new application supplements existing commercial CloudWorx solutions that already allow Intergraph customers to take advantage of rich point cloud data directly within Intergraph’s PDS 3-D plant design and engineering application.
