Service Pack 1 is a major upgrade for Web Studio v7.0 that adds new features, such as multiple language development support for Japanese, French, Portuguese, and German, along with SSL email (support for Gmail), new symbol libraries, new drivers, and more. Statistical process control (SPC) allows machine and process performance to be optimized. Without making any modifications to the project, the user can enable the SPC capabilities to display the average, minimum, maximum, and standard deviation for process values in real-time by simply clicking on an icon, with no programming necessary. A new OLE for Process Control (OPC) module supports XML applications with full control over communication. Users can send and read any process variable on demand and control when items are enabled or disabled. Automatic expansion makes it easy to configure arrays. The OPC module also supports multithreading capability, allowing multiple communication threads even when connecting to the same server. Tag integration enables users to easily use CoDeSys tags. VBScript parallel execution support adds even more flexibility, allowing global procedures to be run in either a multithreaded or linear execution.

Indusoft Web Studio (IWS) v7.0 is the latest, most innovative version of this supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software. It features improvements to the rapid application-configuration environment (RACE) interface, creating an easier application development environment for users. Graphic enhancements include customizable color palettes and color options for trends. Additional graphic improvements support dynamic rotation of bitmap images to simulate actual displays. The software offers security synchronization among multiple IWS workstations, as well as intellectual property protection. Standard features include: online and historical alarms and trending, recipes, report and SQL database connectivity, web publishing, e-mail, and PDF publishing. Accurate translation options allow users to read their application in their native language. License levels range from 150 tags to 512,000 tags, providing a variety of options for every project.

InduSoft Web Studio Version 6.1 Service Pack 6 is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. This human-machine interface (HMI) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software is available through flexible licensing, supporting both USB hard-key licensing and soft-key licensing. It allows sharing data with any SQL Relational Database, such as Microsoft SQL Server CE 3.5 + Service Pack 1 and the MySQL.Net Connectors. Its custom serial driver (TxRx) allows users to transmit and receive hexadecimal codes to support both ASCII and non-ASCII protocols. If it does not have built-in the driver required for a particular device, it communicates simple streaming protocols, such as those used by bar code readers, radio-frequency identification (RFID) devices, temperature controllers, actuators, and custom embedded controllers. It supports PDF printing on 64-bit operating systems and sending e-mail in almost any language using the UNICODE text format. Even though users can already develop applications in any language, the company offers a Japanese-language pack that allows the development environment to be experienced in either English or Japanese.
