SZ-100 nanopartica series instruments
The SZ-100 nanopartica series instruments analyze key physical properties of small particles, including size and zeta potential. Typical applications include nanoparticles, colloids, proteins, biomolecules, and emulsions. The particle size analysis function employs dynamic light scattering (DLS) to make both right-angle (90 deg.) and backscatter (173 deg.) size measurements for samples as small as 10 µL. This feature provides maximum sensitivity and allows the user to optimize measurement conditions for all possible sample types. Unique semi-disposable zeta potential sample cells have carbon electrodes and can typically measure hundreds of samples before requiring replacement. Zeta potential is measured by electrophoretic light scattering and requires as little as 100 µL of sample
Horiba Model VA-3000
The Horiba Model VA-3000 analyzer can measure NH3 slip in stack gas emissions by using two chemiluminescent analyzers in a single instrument case, thereby significantly reducing space requirements and equipment costs. This multi-gas instrument can provide up to three separate gas measurements or multiple ranges of the same gas. A combination of up to three analyzer modules can be installed within a single instrument case that can be mounted in a standard 19-in. rack. he VA-3000 instrument can be equipped with a non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) module that integrates Horiba’s proprietary micro-flow IR detector to measure any three of the gases, which include CO, CO2, NO, N2O, CH4, and SO2 over ranges extending from the ppm to percent levels. The VA-3000 has been certified for UL safety standards in the U.S. and CSA in Canada.
Partica LA-950 laser diffraction particle size analyzer
The Partica LA-950 laser diffraction particle size analyzer has a wide measurement range (0.01–3000μm), fast analysis time (one minute sample-to-sample), and powerful wet- and drysample dispersion systems. The easy-to-use optical system provides extreme accuracy, precision and resolution.
INM-700 in situ NOx/O2 monitor
Capable of measuring NOx and O2 at high temperatures, the INM-700 in situ NOx/O2 monitor uses a zirconium oxide (ZrO2) sensor and non-extractive point measurement. The INM-700 is designed for use in coal-fired boiler applications, such as near-combustion-point readings, or for control of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems. The monitor enables operators to use balancing/combustion tuning to identify gas stratification problem areas. With this feature, problems can be corrected to improve burner efficiencies and reduce NOx emissions. The monitor can perform measurements for combustion modification techniques, such as low NOx burners (LNB), over-fire air injection (OFA), gas re-burn systems, and boiler-tuning or combustion-optimization programs used in emissions compliance strategies. The INM-700 offers lower installation and capital costs and faster response time compared to other competing models.
