Types KN1008 and KN3005 temperature sensors
Ceramic wire-wound platinum sensors are typically used in applications requiring a wide operating temperature range and high measurement stability. Types KN1008 and KN3005, with diameters of 0.8 mm and 0.5 mm, can be used in applications previously off-limits to wire-wound elements due to size constraints. Also broadening its applications range is a design that complies with the IEC 60751 specification. One of the sensor’s most notable features is its small diameter, which enables response times of less than 0.2 s.
