Hydraulic Fracturing Water Analysis Kit
The Hydraulic Fracturing Water Analysis Kit provides onsite results of key water analyses during oil-and-gas and enhanced-oil-recovery operations. It is useful for evaluating the quality of source water, fracturing fluid, flowback water, produced water, and drilling fluids. The kit comes in an easy-to-use, rugged, portable case, and includes a DR/890 colorimeter, HQ40d digital meter, a digital titrator, and reagents for such parameters as alkalinity, bacteria, barium, chloride, conductivity, hardness, iron, pH, and sulfate; additional parameters can be added as needed. Step-by-step procedures are given, enabling users to perform each test either in the field or in the lab.

Xenosep SPE systems
Xenosep SPE (solid phase extraction) systems allow users to perform their own oil and grease analyses, eliminating the need to outsource sample analysis. A Xenosep kit can filter national pollutant discharge elimination system (NPDES) wastewater samples and remove trapped oil and grease from the SPE filter with hexane. Then the extract can be concentrated to determine the residual analyte weight.

m-ColiBlue24 broth
The m-ColiBlue24 broth simultaneously detects and identifies both total coliforms and Escherichia coli (E. coli). Complete enumeration is accomplished within 24 h, requiring neither a confirmation step nor fluorescent lamps. Visual interpretation of results is easy, with E. coli colonies appearing as blue and other coliforms as red. This direct enumeration is more accurate and precise than such statistical-based tests as multiple-tube fermentation (MTF) and most-probable number (MPN). This broth method of detection has been approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for monitoring drinking water and wastewater, and can also be used to detect coliforms in other types of waters: bottled, surface, ground, well and recreational (both fresh and marine), as well as process water for ultrapure chemical processing.

TNTplus Reagents
\TNTplus products work with the manufacturer’s DR 2800 portable and DR 5000 UV-Vis spectrophotometers to increase their productivity and minimize analytical errors. This line of reagent sets now includes copper, high-range nitrite, and mercury-free chemical oxygen demand (COD) testing kits. All three versions are suitable for use in wastewater applications, and the copper model is appropriate for testing potable water. TNTplus features barcode scanning, which enables automatic method and wavelength selection with the insertion of a vial. Its design makes the issue of dirty, scratched, or flawed glassware irrelevant. Its self-contained packaging inside a sealed cap eliminates the need to open pillows or clean glassware.
