eGard
eGard is a compact and lightweight system that brings the functionality of interlocking to an area dominated by lower capability products. A fully modular system that simply clips together and is easily installed, eGard modules include mechanical locks, electrical locks, safety switches, service modules such as indicators and buttons, internal releases, emergency stops, and a selection of actuators suitable for both hinged and sliding doors. eGard can connect to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and mimic panels, or can be used on an AS-interface network, a new cabling system that allows machinery safety equipment, such as access gate switch interlocks, to operate in parallel with standard machinery controls on a single network with a common communication protocol. It has a polymer body for corrosion resistance and has stainless wear parts for long life.

mGard trapped-key
The mGard trapped-key safety interlocks are modular units that control access to enclosed areas. When a key is inserted into the door, bolt or key-exchange module and turned, the contacts on the switch are changed. This allows the user to isolate power and control access to potentially hazarous areas until a safe condition has been established. The modules feature a slim, die-cast zinc body with bronze finish, and internal contact components and keys made of stainless steel; all-stainlesssteel versions are also available.
