The innovative Fenwal PistonFire suppressor is designed to discharge an explosion suppressant into a process vessel in milliseconds without the use of explosive actuators. It’s safer to transport and store than conventional explosive actuators and features a supervisory switch to meet OSHA lockout/tagout requirements. The Fenwal PistonFire suppressor has a longer (five years) actuator service life to reduce maintenance costs. Its field-rechargeable design minimizes production downtime in the event of a suppressed explosion and saves on recharge costs.
