Essential Performance Manager enables organizations to measure and communicate about how their environmental, health and safety (EH&S) and crisis management programs are operating so decision-makers can manage the business more effectively. The software provides an intuitive and flexible data-collection framework with powerful reporting and analytic tools for tracking key performance indicators, incident data and other metrics in order to drive process improvements. As the business intelligence engine of Essential Suite, Essential Performance Manager includes a browser-based interface and optimized data mart that enables users to create or manage performance indicators using data from other Essential Suite modules, including those for air, water, waste, emergency response, compliance and tasking. Essential Performance Manager analyzes these results and generates easy-to-read dashboard displays and reports.
Essential Suite 7.1
Essential Suite 7.1 is scalable from plant-level to global deployments and includes a comprehensive, fully integrated set of environment, health and safety (EH&S) and crisis-management modules. It leverages critical data, information and best practices from a common database across business enterprises, focusing on five urgent business concerns: greenhouse gases and global climate change, worker health and safety, environmental compliance, emergency planning and response, and corporate social responsibility reporting. The software provides a tangible framework that aligns employees’ daily work activities and business processes with the organization’s strategic objectives and goals for sustainability. Global usability enhancements allow users to personalize each interface, simplifying and speeding up data entry with more-intuitive workflow and access to frequently used forms and data. The Essential Incident module makes it easy to collect and manage a wide range of incident information, and to analyze and prioritize workplace health and safety risks. The Essential Audit module enables users to quickly capture and manage operational data to assure compliance with government regulations, global protocols, industry standards and corporate policies. Finally, the Essential Performance Manager facilitates the creation and management of key performance indicators (KPI).
Essential Mobile
Essential Mobile enables a user with a handheld mobile device to collect and process information from facility locations and upload it directly via a wireless connection or a batch process into the manufacturer’s centralized Essential Suite platform for environmental compliance management. This saves the time and costs associated with manual data collection, and eliminates the need for a technician to return to a stationary computer. The software uses Microsoft technology to provide secure data-management capabilities that are compatible with many wireless devices, including those made by Motorola and Intermec. Essential Mobile for Waste helps simplify work processes for container inventory tracking, consolidation and shipping. Using barcode technology, it improves data collection and ensures timely compliance with mandates covering storage, shipment and disposal. Fast and efficient leak detection and repair (LDAR) reporting is provided by Essential Mobile for FEMS, which collects emissions data wirelessly from a Thermo Scientific thermo vapor analyzer via Bluetooth technology and uploads it into the Essential FEMS database.
