VentGuard Dessicant Breather Filters
Ideal for small to mid-size ANSI and API pumps, the VentGuard dessicant breather filters offer superior protection, helping to maximize the mean time between failures (MTBF) and optimize production output. Two products are included in the initial rollout, the VentGuard VG-1 and the VentGuard VG-4. The VG-1 is a simple, yet effective miniature breather model that incorporates desiccant and filtration media. The VG-4 is a hybrid technology breather that incorporates the drying capability of a desiccant, the cleaning capability of a 3μ- filter media, and the sealing capability of an expansion chamber. By combining these proven technologies, the VG-4 eliminates ingression of dirt and water through vent ports.
