WaterShed XC 11122
WaterShed XC 11122 is a nearly colorless version of the best-selling acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)-like WaterShed 11120 material, and it produces parts that look more like true, clear engineered plastic. This improvement in aesthetics comes without penalty to its mechanical properties, as WaterShed XC has been formulated with the Oxetane AdvantageT, which is an advanced chemistry platform that produces parts with outstanding water resistance and high dimensional stability. The material is well-suited for parts such as lenses or clear covers for automotive, medical and consumer product applications.

TetraShell hollow-build software
TetraShell hollow-build software produces reduced-density structural stereolithography (SL) parts. To form a support structure, it uses TetraLattice technology, which was developed by the Milwaukee School of Engineering. This technology allows wall thicknesses to be varied and other support parameters to be adjusted, facilitating the manufacture of a variety of hollow parts. These capabilities reduce the mass of products, which generates savings in material costs. In addition to creating investment casting patterns, the software can also be used to make reduced-density metal-clad composite structures and large, lightweight, thick-sectioned parts. TetraShell is supported by Materialise’s Magics software and can easily be used on all current SL equipment.
