Cartaspers SCH and Cartabond DST.01 deposit-control agents
Cartaspers SCH and Cartabond DST.01 are deposit-control products that can help papermakers to improve machine cleanliness and operability when using wastepaper as a raw material. Cartaspers SCH makes use of nanotechnology to introduce trillions of tiny polymer particles into the wet end of a paper machine. The hydrophobic emulsion particles are derived from a hard, high-melting-point polymer. During operation, the tiny polymer spheres associate themselves with other hydrophobic components in the pulp slurry. Through passivation, this agent renders sticky contaminants nonsticky, which prevents agglomeration and fouling. Cartabond DST.01 is a low-charge cationic polymer solution designed to reduce turbidity in the wet-end circuits.

Highsolv P99 and Highsolv E99 solvents
The new Highsolv P99 and Highsolv E99 solvents for organic synthesis are colorless, low-viscosity solvents with favorable toxicological properties. They are suitable for a range of pharmaceutical and fine-chemical applications, and can be used as a viable replacement for many common toxic and flammable solvents for organic syntheses, such as dichloro-methane, toluene, and others. Both have relatively high flash and boiling points, which ensures useful operating temperatures for a wide range of chemical sequences. Readily miscible with diverse solvents, Highsolv P99 is also miscible with water. Both solvents are stable to numerous strong bases and can be used in mildly acidic processing conditions, further extending their versatility.

Antifrogen SOL HT & Antifrogen GEO
Antifrogen SOL HT is a specially designed heat-transfer fluid that allows solar heating systems with high thermal loads to avoid damage that can come from extreme heat excursions in stagnant zones. Developed in response to the increasing use of vacuum collectors in solar systems (which can have stagnation temperatures of 270°C and above), Antifrogen SOL HT offers protection up to 200°C for operating systems, and protection to 270°C for idle systems. Higher-boiling glycols in the fluid prevent evaporation that can impact the performance of traditional fluids based on low-boiling ethylene or propylene glycol; such evaporation can result in a buildup of salt-like residues, and cause related operating problems and maintenance problems. Anti-corrosive additives ensure optimal frost and corrosion protection down to –23°C, making the fluid compatible with standard metal and plastic components used in solar heating systems. Antifrogen GEO, a heat-transfer fluid based on 1,2-propylene glycol, is also available for use in near-surface geothermal systems at temperatures from –25°C to 50°C.

Genaminox CHE
Genaminox CHE is a peroxide-stable amine oxide (AO) hard-surface cleaner (HSC) made from a plant-based renewable hydrophobe. It enables manufacturers to cut active ingredient input by up to 66%, reducing material purchasing, transportation and storage costs to achieve lower costs for greener cleaning products. According to industry-standard Gardner tests, it consistently outperforms alternative surfactants at a very low concentration because its critical micelle concentration (CMC) is less than half that of lauryldimethyl AO. Compared with existing products on the market, Genaminox CHE offers 50% better soil removal in an anti-bacterial formulation and a 44% improvement in a green all-purpose cleaner formulation. It has an excellent foam profile, making it well-suited to spray-and-sit HSC cleaning formulations.
