Kenics heat exchangers
Kenics heat exchangers are equipped with streamlined Kenics static mixer elements that provide heat-transfer rates three to seven times higher than those of conventional empty tubes, even with highly viscous, difficult-to-process materials. A continuous string of static mixer elements is located within each heat exchanger tube. Fluid flow is directed radially toward the pipe walls and back to the element, regardless of velocity. In addition, momentum reversal and flow division also contribute to mixing efficiency. Used in a wide range of process applications, the heat exchangers require less space and use less energy than other designs. The exchangers feature all-metal and alloy construction, are designed to handle pressures to 10,000 psi, and comply with American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers Association (TEMA) codes.

Kenics KMX static mixer
The Kenics KMX static mixer has a patent-pending, ASME-certified design that generates superior mixing per unit length for laminar flow and high/low viscosity ratio applications. Its internal elements feature concave blade construction, which creates strong cross-stream mixing and flow splitting to achieve rapid blending. Sheets of low-viscosity additives are driven along the trough of each blade and abruptly sheared by strong cross-stream velocity gradients as they pass around the upstream surface. The mixer requires no external power or regular maintenance.

Clean Sweep Mixer
Utilizing a unique impeller design, the Clean Sweep mixer provides excellent top-to-bottom motion, as well as global movement at tank walls — even when center-mounted on a cylindrical vessel without the use of internal baffles. These specially shaped blades have been designed to produce thorough mixing throughout the entire vessel, yielding a homogenous mix and providing good off-bottom suspension of many various materials. The impeller technology, containing two slightly downward- curved blades vertically mounted to the impeller hub, prevents build-up on horizontal surfaces, ensuring that components can be easily cleaned. The Clean Sweep is ideal for low-shear, high-purity sanitary mixing applications and easily accommodates mixing at low liquid levels.
