Centra-flo Upflow Filter
The Centra-flo Upflow Filter can be used in virtually any application requiring the removal of suspended solids. It combines an upflow design with deepbed sand filtration and continuous cleaning to achieve high-quality filtrate with consistently low head loss at varying flow rates. The upflow filter provides a continuous supply of filtered water without interruption for backwash cleaning, making it unnecessary to shut down for backwashing. In addition, the continuous backwash design provides a steady reject stream that eliminates backwash hydraulic surges. The Centra-flo is available in sizes ranging from 10 gal/min to 10,000 gal/min throughput.

Roto-Pulse
The automatic, incrementally rotating Roto-Pulse uniformly cleans 30–40% more filter surface than conventional reverse-pulse systems. The additional area of clean media means a lower air-to-cloth ratio requirement, lower grain loading, more-efficient filter cleaning, and longer filter life. The system operates by pulsing air into a specially designed stainless steel perforated tube. As the air enters, the tube rotates a specified number of degrees, distributing the pulse of air across the length of the cartridge’s inside surface and dislodging clogged dirt from the outside of the cartridge. The number of increments per revolution can be adjusted, as can the time between pulses, for maximum flexibility. It runs up to 15 dBA quieter and uses less compressed air than reverse-pulse systems.

Uniflo Inlet Diffuser
The Uniflo inlet diffuser corrects flow imbalances and improves gas distribution in new or existing separators and distillation towers. It removes liquids and solids from the gas stream, dissipates high inlet gas velocities, and evenly distributes the gas in the vessel, eliminating channeling problems and re-entrainment of the liquid droplets in the mist eliminator. It also prevents gas from jetting into the liquid and the associated entrainment problems. It can be designed for vertical or horizontal separators and is available in a variety of alloys. To simplify installation, it can be made in sections.

Witte 300 screener
A modular design allows the addition of a vibrating fluid-bed dryer, cooler and deduster to the Witte 300 screener, even years after the original equipment was installed. Combining multiple functions in a compact, quickconnect/ disconnect unit saves floor and overhead space and allows the unit to be moved among multiple production lines. Because the screener can be retrofit to handle additional functions, processing capabilities can be expanded without replacing the screener or buying a separate dryer or cooler. Designed for screening nylon, polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyesters, polyurethanes, and other commodity and engineering resins, it air-screens to –20 mesh fines, ensuring virtually complete removal of ribbons, streamers and angel hairs.

Model 6V
The Model 6V employs a specially formulated collector tube that skims oil from the surface of water. The oil adheres to the outside of the closed-loop tube, which is slowly drawn across the surface of the water and into the skimmer. Scrapers remove the oil, which accumulates in a collection chamber. The clean tube then returns to the water to skim more oil. The tube automatically adjusts to varying water levels and is flexible enough to wind over and around floating debris. The system can skim up to 100 gal/h, and is designed to operate 24/7.

Venturi scrubber
This Venturi scrubber efficiently removes submicron dust particles from gases with temperatures up to 230ºC (450ºF) at the inlet. A quencher added to the inlet accommodates higher-temperature gas streams. The scrubbing liquid is introduced through open pipes — not nozzles — into the Venturi throat. This route ensures uniform liquid distribution, eliminating wet-dry line buildup in the fully wetted section. Dust-laden gas and scrubbing liquid collide in the throat, dispersing the liquid into drops on which the particles impact and become trapped. An optional adjustable throat allows flexible operation with varying flow rates or dust concentrations. An entrainment separator efficiently removes droplets from the gas stream. An integral recycle tank is optional. The outlet may be either vertical or horizontal.

Sentinel filter bags
Sentinel filter bags meet the requirements of liquid filtration applications that have a zero tolerance for filtration bypass. Manufactured using a unique fabric-welding technology, as opposed to sewing, these filters have no needle holes that allow unwanted particulate matter to bypass the filter bag. This process also enables the manufacturer to shape the bags to conform to the internal shape of the filter basket, preventing bag failure. The bags come standard with a patented plastic ring that makes a secure, bypass free seal between the filter bag and the filter housing. The design of this seal creates a constant, radially directed pressure to prevent the ring from collapsing into the filter basket. Sentinel filter bags are available with either polypropylene or polyester construction in both double-length, 7-in.× 32-in. number 2 size, and single-length 7-in. × 16-in., number 1 size, to fit filter housings from most manufacturers.

Dust Collection Cartridge Filters
These dust collection cartridge filters feature an advanced nanofiber filtration technology that allows them to last twice as long as cellulose and 80/20 commodity filters. The novel technology allows advancements in surface loading capabilities, including a surface treatment of synthetic nanofibers, which forms a nanoscopic mesh to trap dust particles on the filter’s surface. The particles are released easily during the cleaning cycle and lower the pressure drop over the life of the filter. Dust collection systems equipped with these filters may use up to 60% less compressed air and require less energy to operate. They are certified to collect submicronic dust particles at MERV 15 efficiency levels. These filters can reduce emissions by 50% or more over standard cellulose filters, provide a cleaner breathing zone for workers, and minimize facility maintenance.
