Type 8681 control head
The Type 8681 control head expands the company’s hygienic processing line for the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Developed for use as the centralized control element in decentralized automation systems, it performs all pneumatic actuation, feedback, and diagnostic functions, as well as bus communication, for pneumatically controlled valves. Depending on the type of process valve, it is able to control up to three pneumatic actuator chambers separately. Manual configuration is not necessary — once installed on the valve actuator, the switching positions are automatically determined. The three integrated switching positions are measured by the control head via an inductive analog position sensor and transmitted to a programmable logic controller; a fourth switching position, if required, can also be provided via an externally mounted inductive proximity switch.

Model 8793 SideControl
The Model 8793 SideControl digital electropneumatic process controller can be mounted onto linear and rotary actuators, as well as the manufacturer’s process valves. The controller is packaged in a compact metal housing, and features easy start-up and a graphic display that is backlit for easy viewing. The unit has excellent control accuracy and dynamic properties that make it well-suited for decentralized process-control tasks in hygienic processing, water treatment, and steam and gas handling applications. The SideControl 8793 features automated parameterization and has automatic process value data evaluation for temperature, pressure, filling level and flowrate.

Type 6650 3/2 miniature solenoid isolation valve
The Type 6650 3/2 miniature solenoid isolation valve’s patented flipper technology employs an elastomer element that moves between opposite seats under the force of permanent magnets, which are fixed to the flipper element. This configuration opens one flipper as it closes the other, providing a fast response. The valve’s optimized design ensures reproducible and precise dosing and effective rinsing, making it suitable for use with aggressive chemicals. It measures 4.5 mm wide, and outperforms comparable 10-mm and 16-mm designs. The Type 6650 is offered in a 3/2 model and a 2/2 model, both with bodies made from high-performance polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and seals made of perfluoroelastomer (FFKM).

Liquid Flow Controller
The Liquid Flow Controller doses small volumes at (nominal) flowrates of 10–600 mL/min (0.6–36 L/h) with a 1:10 measuring span. It performs the dynamic control or metering of liquids and is suitable for a variety of industrial applications, including heat treatment, testing, surface-coating, filling, and packaging. When combined with the manufacturer’s mass flow controller, it can simultaneously meter gases and liquids in atomizing and sterilization processes.
