Type 57IL Isolator Lug butterfly valve
The Type 57IL Isolator Lug butterfly valve features a distinct lug design. During the injection molding process used to make the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) valve body, Type 316 stainless steel lugs are inserted into the body, thereby permanently combining the lugs and body into a single unit. This permits removal of the downstream flange while maintaining full upstream line pressure. Encapsulating the lugs into the body also ensures that every valve comes factory-equipped with the lugs. The valves are available in 3–8-in. lever-style configurations (with the option for a gear operator), and 10–12-in. gear-operator configurations. They can also be electrically or pneumatically actuated.
Chem Proline polyethylene (PE) piping system
Chem Proline is a crack-resistant polyethylene (PE) piping system designed for the harshest liquid chemical applications, such as those handling sodium hydroxide, sodium hypochlorite, caustic soda, and weak acids. The complete system includes pipe, fittings, valves, injection quills, and chemical feed skids. Made from the latest generation of PE resin (PE100-RC), Chem Proline pipe and fittings are a lower-cost alternative to metal, fiberglass-reinforced plastic, and lined-steel pipe, and they have a design life expectancy of up to 50 years. The thermally fused Chem Proline piping can be installed above or below ground using socket, butt, or electrofusion joining methods. It is UV-resistant, can handle fluids of any pH from 1 to 14, and withstands pressures up to 150 psi and temperatures up to 140°F. It is available in pipe sizes up to 4 in. and in single- or double-wall configurations
PE100 ball valve
The PE100 ball valve is a corrosion-resistant solution for below-ground gas, sewer, and water applications where metal ball valves have traditionally been installed. The valve is 50% lighter than comparable metal valves, and it features a two-step planetary gear system to ensure smooth opening and closing, thereby eliminating water hammer. It comes in 1-in. to 6-in. sizes (metric sizes are also available), and units larger than 2 in. are available with an integrated gear box. The valve’s SDR11 spigot ends are approved for maximum operating pressures of 230 psi for water and 150 psi for air or gas. Valves for air or gas applications have nitrile rubber (NBR) seals, while valves for liquids have ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) seals. The PE100 ball valve can be easily installed using butt, socket, or electro-fusion technologies.
Series 92 electric actuator
The Series 92 electric actuator’s rugged construction, proven design, and customizable options make the device suitable for a variety of oil and gas applications, such as pipeline transmission and wellhead control. It features a die-cast aluminum alloy, thermally bonded powdercoat, Type 4X, 7 and 9 enclosure that is bolted together in two sections by eight M8 hex-head cap screws with fitted O-rings. The actuator has a permanently lubricated gear train and hardened-steel spur gears. Two end-of-travel limit switches are set mechanically via adjustable cams to open and closed positions. Factory-installed accessories such as 4–20-mA positioners, single and double extra limit switches, and two-wire control relays are available.
Butterfly valve models 56D and 75D
Butterfly valve models 56D and 75D feature rugged, molded plastic non-wetted polydi-cyclopentadiene (PDCPD) bodies with durable polypropylene or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) discs. The discs have a spherical design that improves flow characteristics and lowers operating torque. Industry-standard ISO top-flange mounting patterns facilitate the mounting of gear operators or electric or pneumatic actuators. Wafer-style ANSI B16.5 bodies have been specially engineered to prevent over-tightening of the mating flanges during installation. The valves are available in sizes from 16 in. to 24 in. and have a pressure rating of 110 psi at 70°F.
Fast Pack valve/actuator combinations
The Fast Pack prepackaged combinations of valves and actuators boast an expedited delivery process. The manufacturer guarantees that orders will be sent out within 24 hours of being placed. Packages are available in a range of diameters, including 0.5-in. to 4-in. ball valves and 1.5-in. to 8-in. butterfly valves. Specific pairings and combinations will vary, and include electric ball valve, pneumatic ball valve, electric butterfly valve, and pneumatic butterfly valve packages.
Halar true union ball valve
The Halar true union ball valve can operate as a manual valve or be paired with pneumatic or electric actuators. Its design allows for flow and pressure in either direction, and eliminates the stress inherent to a ball secured only at the top. It is constructed of the most corrosive-resistant thermoplastic material available — a 1:1 alternating copolymer of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE), containing about 80% CTFE. This is the best material for handling high concentrations of sodium hypochlorite and 98+% sulfuric acid. It has good electrical properties and a broad temperature range, from cryogenic to 300°F (150°C). Available in sizes from 0.5 in. to 1.0 in., the valves turn smoothly even in the most difficult applications.
Air-Pro Compressed Air Piping Systems
Air-Pro Compressed Air Piping Systems are available in sizes ranging from 1/2-in. to 12-in. The systems offer socket, butt and electro-fusion fittings in a variety of styles, including tees, reducing tees, 90s, 45s and more. They are safe and reliable, offering fast, low-cost installations, which are made easier by a unique tapping saddle that reduces both drops and required welds. Engineered for continuous operating pressures from 150 to 230 psi, Air-Pro Systems use Solvay Eltex TUB 124 blue high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin, which is extremely ductile, light-weight and corrosion-free. The systems are chemically resistant to compressor synthetic oils and mineral oils that traditionally attack glued systems. Color-coded blue up to 4-in., and black from 6-in. to 12-in. for easy identification of compressed air lines, Air-Pro comes equipped with transition fittings, stub ends and backing rings for flanging.
Type 57 butterfly valve
New design features of the Type 57 butterfly valve include a flange stopper, which prevents overcompression in the valve liner, and a molded body absorption channel. These features work together to eliminate seat compression from effective stem torque, resulting in higher cycle life. A spherical disc provides increased flow characteristics and is less intrusive to piping systems. And, the valve is produced with the first all-plastic gear operator, Plasgear, which is standard on 8-in. through 14-in. models and an option on other sizes. Made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), it is available in sizes from 1-1/2 in. to 14 in.
Poly-Flo Double-Containment Piping
Easy to Install Constructed of polypropylene and high-density polyethylene (HDPE), Poly-Flo double-containment piping features a unitary extruded design. Patented double O-ring flanges allow the piping to be pre-assembled and then easily bolted into place in the field. Available sizes include 1 × 2, 2 × 3 and 4 × 6 in., and a complete line of molded fittings, as well as special-order fabricated fittings for drainage or pressure applications, is available.
Flare-Style Fittings
Designed for water, chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) and chemical applications, these flare-style fittings are available in perfluoroalkoxyalkane (PFA), as well as natural polypropylene (PPN) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). The fittings provide a straight-through clean design with zero dead-volume hold-up. The PFA and PVDF fittings are best suited for ultrapure water and chemical applications, while the PPN fittings are ideal for slurry applications. All fittings meet industry standards for size and thread.
