Misting Booths
Providing one-way passage between a potentially contaminated processing room and a degowning area, this misting booth supplies a fine, low-volume “fog” to remove loose powder that may have adhered to protective garments, reducing exposure to hazardous particulates. An operator simply opens the door and steps into the misting booth, activating the owner-determined timed misting cycle. Water generated collects in the sump of the shower and is pumped to a drain or directed to a process floor drain. Optional accessories include a step-off pad, a bag-out chute, and a water-pressure-boosting system.
